I literally just finished my "denture quest" in Chilliwack two months ago, and it was also important for me to find not just "someone", but a real denturist in Chilliwack, BC, who would not slap the same thing on everyone. I had a similar situation: an old pair of dentures lasted about six years, but over the last couple of years they started to get loose and seemed to have sagged a little. I also have a jaw feature - one side is slightly shorter, and many people said that this creates difficulties in fitting. I first went to one large clinic - I will not name it, but it is right in the center - and was surprised how quickly they wanted to "register" me for standard dentures without any special measurements. I left there. Then, on the advice of a friend, I got to Jason at the Fraser Valley Denture Clinic - he really understood the situation, conducted a full bite analysis, made individual impressions (not the ones that take 10 minutes and then goodbye), and then we adjusted the models twice more so that everything fit perfectly. By the way, he even told me why my dentures used to rub - there was an error in the distribution of pressure on the chewing zones. And another thing: good Denturists in Chilliwack, BC, are often busy, and if they tell you "come tomorrow, we'll do everything in a day" - this is not always a good sign. I waited 5 days for my first consultation with Jason, but it was worth it. Now the dentures fit as if they were my natural teeth, it's even easier to talk. And yes, he explained how to brush them correctly (I used to make a mistake - I rubbed them with too hard a brush), and how to store them overnight so that they don't deform.

Oh, I didn't know that Chilliwack pays so much attention to dentists. I don't have dentures yet, but my mother is planning to change hers - so the topic is very relevant. It was interesting to read about Fraser Valley Denture Clinic, I'll check it out, maybe I'll sign her up there. Denturists in Chilliwack, BC, apparently, really do vary greatly, and personal recommendations seem to be the best way to avoid mistakes.
